Movie Campaign to Eradicate Pediatric Cancer

MISSOULA, Mont. - Jan. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Missoula, MT-17, January, 2014, Wild Horses Productions announces a campaign to raise pediatric cancer awareness and to give much needed funding to pediatric cancer faoundations and hospitals by producing a unique feature film, A Dance for Me.

A Dance for Me fund raising campaign’s mission is “Profit for Non Profit.”  The goal of the campaign is to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars that will immediately benefit pediatric cancer foundations and hospitals. At the same time, the company is producing a motion picture that will promote pediatric cancer awareness and can possibly generate millions of dollars for pediatric cancer foundations and hospitals.

Wild Horses Productions is raising $1.9 million and immediately gives one third to pediatric cancer foundations and hospitals. The remainder will match the investment of our Chinese partner, Gravity Pictures, who is contributing $1 million.

Normally, the company would go to private investors to raise the funds and give them 50% of the film's profits. But with a donation they can bypass private investors and give 50% of the film's profits to pediatric cancer foundations and hospitals instead of private investors.

A Dance for Me was inspired by a true and deeply personal story involving the death of the director/producer’s own young son, Gavin, who at the age of two came down with neuroblastoma cancer and later passed away. “I never thought I would be in front of the camera” – director, Robin Murray, said – “I am always behind it, but with this film I feel empowered to stand up and fight cancer.”

About the movie: The story of the movie follows a mother, a professional choreographer, who comes to terms with the loss of her son to cancer by creating a new dance in China.
