MELBOURNE, Australia - Jan. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Shadow Electric’s 2015 season is well and truly underway, and it’s kicked off incredibly well.

In just three weeks the world’s only outdoor cinema set inside a convent has hosted a litany of sold-out screenings, seen it’s band room absolutely throbbing, housed some epic ping pong battles, and served up some super tasty food.

And, because it’s still only January, there’s plenty more to come. Live on the Shadow Electric website, this year’s cinema program now includes the following additional titles:

March 1 - Talking Heads: Stop Making Sense

March 5 - Ukraine is Not a Brothel

February 22, March 6 & 20 - Birdman

March 13 - Kingsmen: The Secret Service

March 30 - Wild

As well as these new titles, there are some big films coming up from their January and February program.

Here are some highlights:

January 28 - Force Majeure

January 29 - All This Mayhem

February 1 - Finding Fela

February 4 - Charlie’s Country

But it’s not all about cinema. Every Saturday night in Shadow Electric’s bandroom, situated in the Industrial School, there’ll be gigs and special events featuring some Australia’s most iconic bands. Worlds End Press, Kirkis, Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, and HTRK are all scheduled to appear in 2015!
