Welcome Coach Tim Holmes as the California Quake Women’s Tackle Football Team’s New Head Coach!

DOWNEY, Calif. - Jan. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Downey, CA January 22, 2015:  The California Quake Women’s Tackle Football Team would like to announce the new Head Coach, Coach Tim Holmes Sr.  Coach Holmes hails to us from Durham North Carolina where coached the Carolina Phoenix to a National Title in 2012 and a World Title in 2013. Overall his record is 57-8 over 7 seasons.  We are happy to have him as a part of our California Quake Family.

Quake owner Vivo said, "Tim brings an extensive amount of experience and a refreshing enthusiastic energy to the organization. It will be a change of pace that will benefit the entire organization, on and off the field. We look forward to his expertise, leadership and guidance to making history! The California Quake was originally founded in 2001 and officially joined the Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL (http://iwflsports.com/)) in 2003. This 2015 season will be our 15th season in existence but 13th season in the IWFL. Season after season the Quake has built a strong foundation for women to play football and the tradition continues under the direction of Catherine B. Vivo.
