Follow on Google News | Play for Peace Announces ‘Feast for Peace 2015’By: Play for Peace Chicago, IL - Bring some warmth to this chilly winter with the sound of laughter and the colors of New Orleans! Join us for the Play for Peace ‘Feast for Peace’, a Mardi Gras-themed charity dinner to be held on 17th February, 2015 at 5:30pm US, Central Time at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 1901 E. Woodfield Rd., Schaumburg, Illinois. The ‘Feast for Peace’ is open to anyone interested in meeting members of the Play for Peace Community, raising funds for a great cause and having fun!. Our 2014 Feast for Peace sold-out tickets with over 100 guests. This year we have doubled our goal and hope to raise $30,000 to support Play for Peace programs around the world. Our Feast for Peace includes a family style dinner, 2 tickets for cocktails, music, Mardi Gras beads and masks, auctions, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds support Play for Peace in order to bring together children, youth and organizations from communities in conflict using cooperative play to create laughter, compassion and peace. This event, in addition to showcasing the Play for Peace mission, will also serve to assist the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, based in Chicago, IL, with the programs and clubs it has in 23 countries across the globe.
