Microdia launches The World's Smallest SSD Drive

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Jan. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- MICRODIA launches the M+ Micro SSD recently, the world’s smallest solid state drive (SSD). It is smaller than a Macbook’s touchpad, yet allows users to run Windows on a Mac or PC. Data transfer speeds of over 400MBps can transfer a 27.5GB-file in 2.5 minutes. The device’s capacity reaches up to 2TB.  Users can manage, store, and transfer huge data for work and travel hassle-free.

Windows-To-Go and Multiple Applications
Using the included Windows-to-Go (WTG) application, users are able to run Windows on a Mac or PC. The user plugs in the Micro SSD and the device automatically executes the WTG application. The M+ Micro SSD is also able to connect to a television or a laptop via USB and can be used in various environments, like an internet café, at school, at the airport, in a laboratory, or in a hotel.

Protected from Shock

The device’s zinc alloy shell provides protection from shock, vibration and the elements. The drive itself is also resistant to shock, vibration, impact and temperature-influenced operations due to being a solid-state data device. There are also no moving parts to jar.

Compact Size
For users concerned about space, the M+ Micro SSD measures 38 mm x 73 mm x 9.5 mm. This size allows it to fit into a purse or pocket or bag, and its light weight of 58g helps it to remain inconspicuous until needed.
