Jan. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- St. Louis area native Sean Spann, a professional actor with an MFA in acting from the University of California, Irvine, will appear as Phil Colfield, a man taken hostage with his Aunt in their own home, in an upcoming episode of the Golden Globe nominated, CBS crime series "The Mentalist", on February 4, 2015.

Asked about his experience on the set, Spann said, "It was really incredible to see such a talented and efficient cast and crew work together to film this episode. It's the result of seven seasons of consistently good television. It was a well oiled machine with the warmth of a large family."

Spann relocated from Missouri to California ten years ago to earn an MFA in acting, and currently teaches voice and speech at Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles. He has also taught at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and voice, movement, Shakespeare, and speech at New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.

The Mentalist (Season 7, Episode 10) is scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.

Spann is represented by Matt Prater at Dedicated Talent Management and Minc Talent Agency in Los Angeles.
