International Council of Air Shows Launches Redesigned Website

Visitors will find extensive resources and an enhanced user experience at www.airshows.aero

LEESBURG, Va. - Jan. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- The International Council of Air Shows (ICAS), a trade association representing air show industry professionals established to protect and promote their safety and business practices, announced today the launch of its revamped website. This newly redesigned website offers quick and easy access to essential information and features that offer users and association members more comprehensive access to information and multi-media resources. The website also has a comprehensive air shows calendar section with up-to-the-minute air show dates and performer appearances in multiple formats.

John Cudahy, ICAS’s president, notes that this is the first time ICAS has been able to offer its members the most up-to-date information in a way that is truly user friendly.

"We've found that the most effective websites are those that provide timely information in multiple formats, frequent updates and a simple, efficient user experience," said Cudahy. "We think this site, along with the social media efforts we are expanding this year, will help us connect with our audience in a much more effective and meaningful way."

The new website has a clean, uncluttered design, improved functionality and enhanced, rich content focused on ICAS’s mission to building and sustaining a vibrant air show industry to support its membership. The new website went live today, January 16, 2015, and is located at the same address: http://www.airshows.aero.

ICAS’s new website will be updated on a regular basis with news and videos of air show events, aviation milestones, member achievements and more. Visitors are encouraged to explore the website and find an air show in their local area at http://www.airshows.aero/Page/ASMap.
