Waesche is a founder and managing partner of CRCapital Advisors, LLC, a financial services intermediary that specializes in the integrated structuring of financial and insurance market capital, products and services. Early in his career John recognized “risk” as the common denominator of both the financial and insurance markets, and that success would increasingly require the ability to link these markets in order to structure the most cost effective formula for the execution of his client’s business objectives. As a result, his company’s focus is on structuring insurance/financial solutions that are specifically designed to: i) protect income and revenue streams; ii) provide credit enhancement support to financial objectives; iii) improve balance sheet and income statement performance;
and iv) facilitate the business and financial objectives of their customers and clients. CRC maintains relationships with investment banks, insurance companies, private investment groups, pension funds, trade and specialized risk management companies. Working in conjunction with these sources, they are able to offer custom designed insurance and enhanced risk management solutions as well as structured financing for the acquisition or construction of qualified commercial real estate; government/municipal projects; international transportation and/or trade transactions;
renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Example transactions include: payment guarantees and credit enhancements supporting numerous commercial real estate financings, LNG ship construction contracts, commercial solar power installations, numerous applications of an extended form of business interruption insurance against loss of income/profit from unintended disruptions in the projected revenue streams of companies trading or manufacturing globally; and, structured insurance alternatives to corporate bad debt reserves. Prior to his current role John served as the president and CEO of Sunrock Risk Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of one of Japan’s leading trading companies, where he focused on improving the company's global risk management disciplines and their access to supporting financial and capital markets. He also gained invaluable work experience as a senior vice president of Aon Risk Services, concentrating primarily on specialty lines and credit enhancement products that supported Fortune 500 client’s various and unique business and financial objectives. John attributes his accomplishments to supportive mentors early in his career, establishing excellent collaborative working relationships, the opportunity to work within a discipline focused on risk within an increasingly interconnected and exposed global economy, and the business challenges that continually expand his experience. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and completed master's course work at Georgetown University. A longtime resident of Westport, Connecticut, outside of work John focuses on family, sailing, reading and friends.
