Cincy Chic Hosts 8th Anniversary Party, Fundraiser

CINCINNATI - Jan. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- It’s Cincy Chic’s 8th anniversary and they’re celebrating in style with a “birthday” bash like no other.

Attracting more than 300 attendees, the online publication for women in Greater Cincinnati will host this event Jan. 22 at Elements Conference and Event Center in Sharonville, and all proceeds will benefit the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative (CYC).

”My team and I are so excited to celebrate with Cincinnati. We’ll have sweet treats, refreshments, a fashion show, DJ with dancing, shopping and pampering by local businesses. Plus, $8,000 in fab prizes raffled off to lucky attendees,” says Amy Scalia, publisher of Cincy Chic. “Also, attendees will be able to watch a special ‘8 Years of Chic’ video we’re putting together and see the big reveal of our newly re-designed website!”

Tickets are $10, which includes a swag bag, and five raffle tickets. Prizes include spa packages, jewelry, and gift certificates to local businesses.

“All funds received will support CYC’s mentoring services, career preparation courses, and college and career success programs,” says Kate Elliott, CYC Communications and Marketing Specialist. “CYC provides vital services and programs to vulnerable Cincinnati students. This is our first time working with Cincy Chic, so we are very excited to lay the foundation.”
