WEATHERFORD, Texas - Jan. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler, 4 time World Champion bull rider, Tuff Hedeman, CBR Chief Executive Officer, Benny Cude, and President Carl Wilburn, cut the ribbon today officially opening the new corporate headquarters of one of the nation’s top professional sports organizations, Championship Bull Riding.

The opening of the new corporate office, 108 East Church Street on the historic square in Weatherford, was well attended with District Judge Craig Towson, Chamber of Commerce President, Tammy Gazola, and legendary rodeo personality and owner of the first bucking bull stock registry, Bob Tallman, all on hand to welcome the fifteen year old professional bull riding organization to town.  Joining the CBR team for the festivities was James and Mitzi Fenoglio, of Fenoglio Boot Company as well as the board of directors and longtime partner Donnalyn Quintana, founder and head of Western Wishes, a make a wish type charity for cowboys and cowgirls with critical injuries and challenges.

“We are excited to form this partnership with the city of Weatherford and look forward to the relationship for years to come. This new space is a symbol of our success and growth and we are excited that our new offices reflect the city’s commitment to the western lifestyle industry, said CBR Chief Executive Officer, Benny Cude of The Woodlands, Texas.

Housing the CBR’s Wall of Champions, bull riding memorabilia lines the walls of their new office space with a salute to the rider, cowboys, and stock contractors who have provided the action packed memories of the past fourteen years.

“The doors are open to the public and CBR welcomes fans to browse the halls and check out our merchandise available on the first floor,” said Chief Operating Officer and board member Chelsee Murphy.

In conjunction with the headquarters opening, the CBR launched the 2015 CBR Mahindra Road to Cheyenne Tour  in Jackson, Tennessee, with two performances on January 16- 17th.

The nationally televised tour will then move on from Tennessee to New Mexico, with stops in Hobbs and Rio Rancho, then back to Texas for action packed events in El Paso and Lufkin to finish the winter schedule. CBR picks back up in March with stops in Mulvane, Kansas, and Bossier City, Louisiana before the infamous Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge in Fort Worth, followed by Hedeman’s classic Las Vegas bull riding blow out at the South Point Hotel.  The tour ends this year on April 25th at one of the most famous venues in rodeo, the George Paul Memorial Bull Riding in Del Rio Texas, with the World Finals poised once again during the Cheyenne Frontier Days, July 20 – 22, 2015 in Cheyenne Wyoming.

The 2015 CBR season is prepared to get underway with the number one bull rider in the world, reigning CBR and PRCA World Champion Sage Steele Kimzey, leading the CBR way in the three round tournament style format that allows fans appreciate because they get to see their favorites ride up to 3 bulls in one night.

With a frenzy of cowboys clamoring to enter each event, CBR produces a solid roster of bull riders including PRCA World Champions, Sage Kimzey and Cody Teel, CBR World Champions Josh Barentine, Clayton Foltyn, and Cole Echols, and Wrangler National Finals Rodeo round winners Aaron Pass, and Brennon Eldred, just to name a few.  Fans will be entertained with not only high quality athletic performances from both the riders and the industry’s best bucking bulls, but this year CBR featured Whiplash, the cowboy monkey during intermission of the season opener.

Speaking of super stars, we can’t forget to “other side of the ride”, the four legged bovine athletes that more than half of the audience is usually cheering on. 2014 Bull of the Year, Penny Lover, is on the Road to Cheyenne making his first appearance of 2015 in Jackson, Tennessee. Penny Lover remains unridden in On The Road to Cheyenne action, who will be the first to hear the whistle on the unblemished record of this bucker from Benny Cude’s 7 Rocking X Ranch?
