Follow on Google News | MOTERWRITER.COM reviews the latest hit novel – Death by AutopsyAuthor Jane Bennett Munro’s medical mystery novel will thrill you to bits
When we see Toni Day in the beginning, she is in the midst of a crisis after falling into a canal filled with icy cold water, trying to help save the people in a car that had fallen in. It turns out that the driver of the car is Beulah, a nurse who used to work in the same hospital as Toni. And in the trunk of her car is the dead body of her husband. Beulah proclaimed dead by the doctors wakes up on Toni’s autopsy table before dying for real a couple of days later due to several medical complications. When the woman’s fraternal twin sister and her husband sues Toni and the hospital for medical negligence and death due to autopsy, she has to participate in an extremely risky adventure that also reveals the truth behind the death of the couple. The readers get to follow Toni Day as she searches desperately for the missing links in the story that will absolve her and the hospital of any negligence. The author has a tough and gritty style of writing that is also technically precise. There are graphic descriptions of autopsies and violent crimes which succeed in creating an eerie environment, all of which will keep the reader deeply invested in the story. “I wanted to create a mystery story in which the suspense increased with every new scene.” Jane told us when we interviewed her in connection with the book’s promotion. A spokesperson for the publisher iUniverse said that Death by Autopsy had quite an exciting story and qualifies as an edge of your seat thriller with built up tension refusing to let up till the very end of the book. Kevin Peter who reviewed the book for Moterwriter.com said Jane Munro is extremely skilled at creating nuanced, complex characters whose lives the readers will be delighted to follow assiduously and passionately.
