Rotary Clubs to host free patriotic blues & southern rock concert to benefit Wounded Warrior Project

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Jan. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Bonita Springs, FL--On Friday, January 16 from 5:00 – 9:00 the Bonita Springs and Estero Rotary Clubs, supported by American House, will present a free patriotic blues and southern rock concert at Riverside Park on Old US 41 in downtown Bonita Springs. The concert will feature live music from Railhead, Blue Cross and Breaking Blues.  Net proceeds from the sale of beer, wine and food will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team (WWAST).

On Saturday, January 17th, The WWAST will play the Lee County Sheriff’s Department at 5:00 pm and the Bonita Springs Fire Department at 7:00 p.m. at Bonita Springs Parks & Recreation Softball Field at 26740 Pine Street in Bonita Springs. Admission is free and the public is invited.

The national WWAST represents some of the nation’s bravest and most determined heroes, soldiers and veterans.  These athletes have sustained severe injuries resulting in amputation while serving in the military/war and through extensive rehabilitation, have become competitive athletes.
