Nominations in the 2015 DollObservers.com Fashion Doll Awards Announced

Jan. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- DollObservers.com, the online community for adult fashion doll collectors, has announced the Nominees for The 4th Annual DollObservers.com Fashion Doll Awards (#DOFDAs). Nominations were submitted by registered members of the website at the end of 2014. Those in the running include some of the biggest names in the fashion doll industry such as Mattel, Barbie Collector, Integrity Toys, Tonner Doll Company, JAMIEshow and Superdoll Collectables as well as UK based newcomer Kingdom Doll.

This year's awards also recognises wider aspects of the doll community, other than just the outstanding dolls themselves, such as independent doll retailers. For the first time the awards also recognise the contribution bloggers make to the industry with the 'Best Fashion Doll Blog' award.

“What makes these awards different to other similar awards is that they are both nominated and voted for by doll collectors themselves,” said Simon Farnworth, Owner and Community Manager at DollObservers.com. “I am excited to share this year's Nominees with the world and I cannot wait to see which ones the public will choose as the eventual #DOFDAs Winners.”

The doll loving public has a chance to make their voice heard on which of the Nominees will reign supreme by casting their votes for the 2015 #DOFDAs Winners at http://dollobservers.com/dofdas-vote. Voting is open from now until Wednesday, February 18th at 11:00PM/GMT. Winners will then be announced via the DollObservers.com site on Sunday, February 22nd.
