NEW YORK - Jan. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Spectra Music Group recording artist Morgan's Road are releasing their highly anticipated debut album "Topics of Love" on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015. Music aficionado's are eagerly waiting for this incredible album after reading all the great reviews and hearing their first single "Turn It's Back On You" on radio around the world.

What do a Singer-Songwriter, a 3rd year Dental Student, a World-Renowned Fusion Guitarist, a Fine Dining Restaurant Manager and an IT Director that live in three different cities in two different states have in common? Their individual talents and years of varied musical experience blend together perfectly and create the funky, catchy sensation that is Morgan’s Road.

With their tight mix of Alternative Rock, Funk, Fusion, and Pop, these genre-defying musicians are rapidly making a name for themselves in the Southeast, and are poised for international exposure. In 2013, they caught the attention of the Spectra Music Group, who quickly signed them to a recording deal. Their debut album will be internationally released on the Spectra Records label on January 13, 2015. The first single “Turn Its Back On You” was released on October 7, 2014. Look for their single and the album “Topics Of Love” on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Virgin Mobile, Spotify, Google Music, and many more outlets.

Morgan’s Road features the soulful, powerful vocals and acoustic guitar stylings of frontman Ben Woodruff, the masterful guitar work and vocals of Cameron Allen, the down-low rumblings of electric bass player Matt Chmielecki, the funky precision of drummer and vocalist Tyler Perry, and the solid groove of keyboardist and percussionist Justin Banks. The diverse musical backgrounds of the members of Morgan’s Road combine to create a sound best described as “Uniquely Funky and Soulful Jam Rock”. Morgan’s Road’s music is accessible, eminently listenable, and radio-friendly while retaining an undeniable musicality and depth. The music is totally danceable, with enough hooks and catchy lyrics to keep everyone interested for days.

Ben, Tyler, Cameron, Justin, and Matt have decades of collective performing experience, each with past engagements playing in a wide range of bands throughout the southeast. From Beach Music to Straight Ahead Jazz and Bebop. From Southern Rock to Fusion and Progressive – they have played it all.

The band is based in historic and culturally rich Charleston, SC – known to many as “The Holy City Of The South”. Charleston has a wealth of great musicians, artists, clubs, and nightlife, and Morgan’s Road fits right in by writing and performing songs that provide a glimpse into life in a traditionally southern, yet modern and cosmopolitan city.

The band routinely makes appearances at clubs and events all around the southeast, and has played favorite local venues like The Music Farm and The Windjammer in Charleston, SC. They have opened up for several popular artists, including up and coming country rock stars Colt Ford and Lee Brice, as well as 90s pop superstars Hootie & the Blowfish.
