"The Teal Takeover" a Charity Fashion Show for Cervical Cancer"
Bringing awareness to Cervical Cancer as well as the other 4 primary Cancers below the belt.
According to the The American Cancer Society's, in 2014 there were 12,360 new cases of invasive cervical cancer and 4,020 deaths while the number of cases globally are drastically increasing. It’s time to do something about it! Let’s all take action to provide support and hope to those suffering from cervical cancer as well as the other 4 primary cancers below the belt.
In an effort to give awareness and stop the spread of this otherwise preventable disease, Protect My Kitty in conjunction with N’tyce Modeling Agency are organizing a charity fashion show "The Teal Takeover" with the goal of spreading awareness on the 5 primary female cancers below the belt: Cervical, Ovarian, Uterine, Vaginal and Vulvar, while also encouraging young female teens to obtain the HPV vaccine.
The Teal Takeover Charity Fashion Show is scheduled for January 18th, 2014, at The Cobb Energy Centre, located at 880 Cobb Galleria Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30339 from 4pm to 9pm. The fashion show will feature both male and female models 10 years and older.
Protect My Kitty (PMK) was established to provide education, awareness, and support to all women at risk for gynecologic cancers with a mission to change the mindset of all women when it comes to their female body parts and organs. PMK is committed to removing the taboo and shame women have towards open discussion on sex and their female body parts through education and awareness. Founded by Kimberly Henderson and Dasha Ware.
