By: Boston Center for Adult Education Many essential oils such as cinnamon, lemon, ginger, allspice and balsam peru can help ease flu-like symptoms and strengthen ones immune system. On Sunday, January 25th, 2015 aromatherapist Cher Kore will teach students the importance of each in “Keep Your Winter Cold and Flu Free.” From 1:00PM-3:30PM, students will learn which essential oils can help alleviate their symptoms as well as how to make all-natural healing baths, misters, air diffusers, massage oils and bedding fresheners. On February 8th, 2015 Cher Kore will return for “Soak Your Troubles Away.” In this class, students will learn to make their own natural bath blends to soothe skin and detoxify the entire body. Students will discover the benefits of various blends including those which prevent stretch marks and scarring; ease muscle, joint, and nerve pain; and those that de-stress, aid in meditation, fight insomnia and enhance mood. The benefits of bath salts have all those of a good massage, but at a fraction of the cost! This is a class that keeps on giving.
