Golden Globes Feature Miami Designer in Swag Bag

MIAMI - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- The 72nd Annual Golden Globes Awards will be a bit Edgier this year due in part to the Wallets and Toiletry Bags the Swag Bags will feature. The Female Nominees will get swagged with  Leatherette Limited Edition Wallets and the Male Nominees will receive Toiletry Bags with "winged" Ramsey Petersson Logo.The Bags will be directly delivered to all the Nominees staying at the Beverly Hilton Hotel where many celebrities call home for a few nights due to it's easy access to the Award show.

Petersson has traveled a long and winding road. As a Cuban American Designer and one half of Ramsey& Jade success and disappointments all fit in the mindset of this designer. In 2007 Petersson and Sister Jade debuted their 1st Collection "She's a Rebel"  inspired by the late Supermodel GIA Carangi. The Collection featured bold fabrics, glitter, a Black Gothic Trench Coat and a White Suit with satin fuchsia lining that became the label's intant Classic Suit. The Show was held at The Fifth Night Club in South Beach then managed by Nightclub Empressario Gerry Kelly who was quoted saying "The Show was Spectacular" also on hand Miami's own "Trend Tracker" Tara Gilani who became an instant fan.

Three months later Petersson found herself in Times Square New York as the "Closing" Designer in an Independent Runway Show at NYFW produced by Models on the Work and Village Fashion City. The "She's a Rebel" Collection affectionately called the "GIA" Show impresssed many in the Media including Pamela Grossman who called the Designes "gutsy". "If Betsey Johnson and Chanel had babies they would be "US" says Petersson after being asked Who's designs closely resembles hers.

Ramsey Petersson has no formal Fashion design training and learned by watching her maternal Grandmother who raised her since birth but now deceased as of last November. Ramsey Petersson has worked with the likes of Rappers T Pain and Rick Ross on their Video titled "Rap Song" Where a few pieces from various Collections were used including The Black Gothic Trench Coat. In 2012 American Airlines' Magazine American Way featured Ramsey Petersson Label Men's Suit and Ties as well as other Fashion pieces for the Ladies. It's the Designers first Cover.

Petersson took more than 2 years off to care for her Grandmother until last November when she passed away and just when things looked dark , a "light" on Christmas Eve beamed when The Gia Carangi Foundation's "higher ups" called Petersson and asked if she would help with the Promotion of the @simplyGiaBook a Coffee Table Book in the works. And you can guess the answer. Ramsey Petersson is now the Social Media Coordinator.

Petersson is not afraid to say she watches General Hospital and caused a Twitter shake up when she tweeted pictures of the Leatherette Wallets. Needless to say General Hospital Celebs and Allums like Lilly Melgar of The Bay Series, Jackie Zeman, Carolyn Hennesy and Laura Wright  are receiving their very own Limited Edition Wallets. The Ladies will be receiving their wallets this week via  Hollywood Baskets. Petersson has also gifted Celebrities like Alyssa Milano, Hayden Panetierre, and Rachel Bilson.
