Orangetheory Fitness To Open Third Triangle Location in Holly Springs
One of the nation’s most effective workout concepts uses heart-rate monitored high-intensity interval training to maximize calorie burn, accelerate weight loss and eliminate exercise plateaus
Orangetheory Fitness was first introduced to the Triangle in January 2014 with the opening of its Morrisville studio location in the Park West Village shopping center. A second Triangle location opened October 2014 in Chapel Hill’s Meadowmont Village shopping center.

During each hour-long class, Orangetheory Fitness participants wear heart-rate-monitors as they go through interval training and short bursts of exercise designed to maximize the Orange Effect (achieved when one’s heart rate reaches 85 percent of their maximum heart rate for 12 to 20 minutes), which adds extra caloric burn for up to 36 hours after the workout. Participants can burn up to 1,000 calories per 60-minute class – one of the many reasons Orangetheory Fitness has been hailed on CNN and in The New York Times as a highly effective workout.
