McGregor Metalworking Receives Prestigious Awards from Deere & Company

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Jan. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- The McGregor Metalworking Companies have earned two prestigious awards from one of its largest customers. Deere & Company of Moline, IL has named McGregor a Partner level supplier, its highest honor in all of its supply chain for the fifth year in a row. Additionally, after five consecutive years of Partner level service McGregor will also be presented with a Five Year "Hall of Fame" award.

"Only a handful of suppliers have achieved this honor among Deere's worldwide supply chain. It is an honor of the highest regard and all of the McGregor associates have worked tirelessly to earn this incredible distinction," commented Jamie McGregor, Vice President, Business Development of The McGregor Metalworking Companies.

In a supply chain with more than 10,000 suppliers around the world for direct and indirect materials this distinction will have a profound impact on future opportunities for McGregor. These awards come on the heels of Deere & Company's "Supplier of the Year" award bestowed upon McGregor in 2012 for outstanding service and quality.

The awards will be formally presented to McGregor Metalworking representatives in a ceremony in Moline, IL in March.
