It will feature a number of speakers including former Team GB kickboxing champion Annette Khepri. Annette is the creator of ‘Black Belt Thinking’, an approach that focuses on achieving social change and personal goals by embracing a mind/body/spirit way of life. She will be aiming to inspire people to achieve their goals and New Year’s resolutions with her talk ‘The Art of Magical Heart and Mind – Creating your Most Conscious, Audacious and Healthy New Year yet’. There will be holistic health professionals on hand to offer advice and tips to attendees as well as workshops, presentations and green healthy lifestyle exhibitors. Guests will have the opportunity to network and do business with like-minded people, enjoy a healthy lunch and take home giveaway prizes and goody bags. Founder and director of The Green Pages Svitlana Bulava says, ‘We want to help people get inspired to have a healthy, happy and well balanced 2015! We are extremely grateful to our sponsors Cheshire West and Chester Council and 9bar for allowing us to offer this event completely free of charge to anyone who would like to come along.’ The event will be showcasing ‘Findit’, Cheshire and Warrington councils’ new procurement portal which aims to boost the local economy by providing businesses with support and advice as well as assistance in bidding for contracts. Peter Beswick, Economic Development Officer for Cheshire West and Chester Council, says, ‘We’ve worked in partnership with The Green Pages to promote their services to local suppliers using the portal. In fact, it’s given them the chance to promote this event to a wider business community. We look forward to demonstrating Findit at the Fresh Start January event and showing attendees the benefits of signing up to the web portal.’ The Green Pages launched in May 2013 and is an online community bringing together healthy living resources across north-west England and north-east Wales. It also organises and hosts various events to promote healthy living to the local community while supporting local businesses.
