ORLANDO, Fla. - Jan. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- 2015 is the year of expanding social technology and wearable applications.

First, and foremost, solid comprehension of English as a native speaker is tantamount in 2015. With the onslaught of outsourcing to Brazil, India, and other nations . . . oftentimes the "overnight nearly zero cost foreign technical writer" results in the higher-cost English speaker having to rewrite significant portions of content. This year, English is required.

CAD and 3D Media: is on the rise with ever navigating horizons. Screen-casting, Video-blogging, and Web-based Training are gaining in popularity.

Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA): other innovations improve Returns-on-Investment (ROI) by the implementation of the latest / greatest XML feature for technical documentation, which promises to have a burgeoning presence among Aerospace, CCM, Finance, Training, and other high-end writer pursuits.

Global Technical Writing: try Technical Writing from anywhere in the world. As Baby Boomers and Generation Xer's transcend, Millenials (Generation Y) and the New Silent Generation (Generation Zer's) are increasing participants in the workforce ascribing duties to Technical Writers and they get the new media. While Baby Boomers and Xer's still desire to hold the reigns of writer oversight by seeing and hearing them in the flesh, Millenials and Silents feel Skype and Selfie's are as good as face-to-face. In fact, the Silent's even prefer the solace of love ya from a distance teamwork. Therefore, in 2015, more and more Technical Writers just might travel to Belize while finalizing your documentation.

Wearable Media: with the newest wearable media comes GoogleNow (Android) and Siri (iPhone). Teleportation of information arrives highly digitized and all-encompassing rather than cryptic textualized brief responses of the past. And, this is a resource writers should fall in love with.Technical Writers are rise above it all personalities and definitely will catching the wave by mid-first quarter.

Other Gainful 2015 Practices: Adobe Illustrator; Channel Participation;Community Forums;Corporate Blogging; Education Plan Negotiations instead of Consultant Agreements;Post-release Workflows;Quick Reference Guides;RSS Feeds; Standards; Visuals; and Wikis.
