By: Army PaYS Program “The valuable training that soldiers receive during their time in the Army directly relates to career opportunities at MHC,” said Chris Parks, vice president of Human Resources/Risk Management. “We have over 90 locations across 13 states and we are looking to hire diesel technicians at every location.” Companies participating in the PaYS programs tend to share common values with the Army and its soldiers. “We have a strong Technician Development Program that sets us apart from other companies,” says Parks. “The program provides a career path for our technicians to grow their skill set and compensation. We have found when Army soldiers are ready to move into the civilian sector, a career with MHC is an easy transition.” MHC invests significantly in training of each technician from an Apprentice to a Journeyman. “We take pride in our employees and we want to offer them every opportunity to further their career,” Parks concluded. Army Captain Seth Sanert from the Greater Kansas City Recruiting Company commented, “The program provides America's youth an opportunity to serve their country while preparing for the future”. MHC will contact PaYS applicants after their service to set up an interview during the transition process into the civilian sector.
