By: Guida's Dairy On Tuesday, November 4th, Guida’s Dairy presented a check for $11,250 to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center at their recently relocated Primary Care Center located at 76 New Britain Avenue. SUPERCOW, Guida’s Dairy’s mascot, attended the event handing out presents and smiles to the children who were present. The main facility of the Connecticut Children's Medical Center is a nationally recognized, 187-bed not-for-profit children's hospital serving as the primary teaching hospital for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. SUPERCOW makes regular visits to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center to cheer up children and their families throughout the year. Connecticut Farmland Trust was presented with their $11,250 beneficiary check on November 20th. Guida’ Thanksgiving week, the Guida’s Dairy Team and SUPERCOW surprised the children at the Boys & Girls Club of New Britain with a visit by giving out pencils, key chains, milk, chocolate milk, and high fives. Additionally, the philanthropic company presented the New Britain Boys & Girls Club with an $11,250 check from the Guida’s Charity Golf Invitational proceeds. The Boys & Girls Club of New Britain provides a nurturing, adult-supervised environment for young people from ages 6 to 18, a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, and hope and opportunity. Throughout the years, Guida’s Dairy has been donating various products to help enrich programs at the Boys & Girls Club of New Britain, including donating product to their upcoming holiday party for the children. On December 4th, Guida’s Dairy also presented the Brain Injury Alliance of CT (BIAC) with a check for $11,250. Guida’ Guida’s Dairy will be holding their upcoming Annual Guida’s Charity Golf Invitational on Friday, May 8th, 2015 at Lyman Orchards Golf Club in Middlefield, CT.
