Nephrologist Amarpreet Sandhu, D.O., Joins Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation

SAN FRANCISCO - Dec. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, part of the Sutter Health network, announced today the addition in October of Amarpreet Sandhu, D.O., FASN, as a specialist in kidney transplant and nephrology.

Dr. Sandhu is board certified in nephrology. He received his medical degree from Touro University of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland. He then completed his fellowship in nephrology at the University of New Mexico and a transplant fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center. Dr. Sandhu is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and has won multiple honor awards including but not limited to Phi Beta Kappa and Community Service Award. He has an extensive background in medical research and publications. His primary language is English and he also speaks Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
