PRLog -- Attorney Evan Guthrie of the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina attended the Charleston School of Law for a special day. The day of February 7
th, 2014 was spent hosting one of the Law School’s most crucial and exciting events. Featured on this day was the National Moot Court Competition, a favorite event for students. The competition is built off of law students performing in a Supreme Court Case, and being judged on their trial.
Attorney Guthrie, alongside with other practicing Attorneys, worked to judge the contest between the participating students. Involving law students from various Law Schools throughout the country, the day consisted of the students arguing for their schools in a Supreme Court Case. The Supreme Court case centered on topics such as religious freedom and The Affordable Care Act. It was an exciting and long day for all the law students traveling from near and far to compete. However, the students were very thankful to have the opportunity, and were appreciative of all of those who served as a volunteer judge. Attorney Guthrie especially enjoys this event at the local Law School, and thanks all those for attending, and making such a great event possible.
