After Seven Years, the ‘Piano Phoenix’ Has Risen and Will Grace Audiences with Performances in Boca Raton to Benefit Alzheimer’s Association

Who: Acclaimed Russian pianist Elena Klionsky, who, after a debilitating hand injury was unable to perform for over seven years but has since risen to play once again

What: A concert series to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association

When:  December 2014 and January/February 2015

December 28^th: “Holidays in Provence" at 3:00pm, featuring French Music for Violin and Piano with Tatiana Berman on violin, followed by French afternoon coffee and pastries.

January 25^th: “Chopin at the Chalfonte” at 4:00pm, featuring the piano music of Frederic Chopin performed by Ms. Klionsky, followed by Polish/French afternoon tea.

February 22^nd: "Water World", featuring "seaphonic" music and paintings at 5:00pm. Enjoy beautiful seascapes by Elena's sister Nadia Klionsky, a noted artist, while Elena plays such pieces as Ravel's “Jeux d'eau” and Liszt's “Venezia e Napoli”. A seafood buffet will follow.
