By: Theivasanthi Bangalore INDIA NANO conference has been conducted successfully since last 6 years with the aim of bridging Nanotech Research, Industry, Government & Academia and for the growth of Nanotech Industry in India. The 7th Bangalore INDIA NANO was organised by the Govt. of Karnataka under the guidance of Vision Group on Nanotechnology and Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research. The event was inaugurated on 5th December by Shri Siddaramaiah - Hon'ble Chief Minister of Karnataka and was presided by Bharat Ratna Prof. C.N.R. Rao, Scientific Adviser to the Prime Minister. Shri S.R. Patil, Hon’ble Minister and Shri.Srivatsa Krishna,Secretary (IT, BT and S & T) were also presence. Worldwide, 47 globally acclaimed speakers including 2 women speakers and more than 600 delegates from 12 leading nanotech nations namely USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Australia and Iran have participated in this event. As the results of this event that India has been recognized as third prominent nation in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology and Bangalore as a science city. Dr.T.Theivasanthi from International Research Centre (IRC) of Kalasalingam University, Krishnankoil has been selected and invited as a speaker, for this prestigious conference.
