QUARTZ HILL, Calif. - Dec. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Food Tidings has been “helping you help others” since November of 2007 and has now made a commitment in partnership with Wives Behind the Badge, Inc. to further Wives Behind the Badge’s mission in being a positive voice for law enforcement families by bringing assistance to law enforcement families in need. Wives Behind the Badge and Food Tidings food campaigns will aid officers and families in need, not only during the holiday season through their Santa Shield program, but all year long for assistance during hardship and tragedy.

Simply put, Food Tidings is “Meal Support Made Simple.” As seen in GNN America, People and Give forward, Food Tidings lists three easy steps to their services: (1) encourage users to tell a story of someone in need, (2) provide schedule details for meal deliveries and (3) invite friends and family to support. Options for participating in assisting Food Tidings include making a homemade meal to be sent, picking a meal to send directly to someone in need, or even sending a snack or gift instead.

Through Wives Behind the Badge, public and private campaigns will be facilitated for each state. Private campaigns will be created for in house events where volunteers, family, and friends sign up to take a meal or purchase a meal for delivery. Public campaigns will be set up only to accept meals to purchase and the recipient's information remains private. People can purchase a meal and the food companies hired by Food Tidings will deliver the meals.

Follow Food Tidings on their blog -- http://blog.foodtidings.com/ -- for deliciousrecipes and to see the good deeds shared with those in need. https://www.foodtidings.com/

To sign up as a volunteer and assist in supporting law enforcement in a positive way or to request a meal contact Wives Behind the Badge today through your local state auxiliary on Facebook, Twitter, or at http://www.wivesbehindthebadge.org/ .
