Quinn’s Goldsmith Launches Online Jewelry Store
Quinn’s Goldsmith has two retail “brick and mortar” stores; the original store opened in Historic Occoquan in 1990 and the newer location in the Town Center at Stonebridge in Woodbridge opened in 2011. Quinn said that many of his clientele is pressed for time and would like the option of shopping for jewelry via the Internet.
The web site offers a much wider selection of merchandise, which overcomes a costly challenge for the traditional retailer: purchasing and maintaining expensive inventories. Featuring over 20,000 items, ranging from silver rope bracelets and diamond engagement rings, to pearl earrings and gold charms, Quinn’s Gold Online promises to offer deep discounts year round of at least 30 percent off retail prices with additional specials to be announced.
“Our customers have been asking us for years to offer the convenience and lower prices of jewelry shopping online and we are ready to help,” stated Quinn, a Certified Master Jeweler and winner of several IJO custom design awards.
Quinn envisions the new web site as an enhancement to his physical store locations, not competition. He noted that the existing stores provide services and merchandise not available online including jewelry repairs, custom designed creations and consultative gift purchase recommendations. As an example he mentioned the ever-popular “wish list” where customers visit the store and select items that their significant other can return and buy for gifts, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
“Customers who order online can have the option of having their order delivered to their home or either store and if they are not completely satisfied with their purchase they can return it, “said Quinn.
