WrestleCade Celebrates Sell-Out & Raises Money For Charity
Annual wrestling fanfest and super show attracts more than 3,000 people from around the world and raises $17k for Salvation Army.
Talking about this years success, WrestleCade Entertainment owner and founder said: "Wrestling fans from around the world have spoken and they LOVE WrestleCade weekend. My Team and I are humbled that in only 3 short years, this event has become one of the must attend wrestling events of the year. We owe them our thanks for believing in and supporting us."
Former WWE superstar Drew Galloway, formerly known as Drew McIntyre, who wrestled for the WrestleCade championship at the event against Matt Hardy, said: "WrestleCade is even cooler than WrestleMania and WWE Axxess because rather than just WWE talent, it's wrestling stars from ALL promotions both past and present. I'm a fan!"
In addition to celebrating the record-breaking number of attendees, WrestleCade Entertainment had another reason to celebrate because they were able to donate $6,000 to Christmas Toy Drive to benefit Salvation Army. "Being able to bring an event of this magnitude to our hometown of Winston-Salem, NC...break attendance records...AND raise more than $17,000 since 2012 for families in need at Christmas is such a blessing," said Brian Hawks, co-producer of the event.
WrestleCade Weekend is already scheduled for the weekend after Thanksgiving 2015. See http://www.WrestleCade.com for more info
