Valley Services has been a partner with DAAA for more than 10 years. The Christmas meal includes: chicken with apple raisin glaze, sweet potatoes with glaze, green beans with red peppers, unsweetened 100% fruit juice, milk, fruit pie and whole wheat roll.
DAAA is a private, non-profit agency that serves older persons age 60 years and over, adults with disabilities and caregivers in the city of Detroit, the five Grosse Pointes, Hamtramck, Harper Woods and Highland Park. Services are funded by public and private resources. Call (313) 446-4444 if you would like to volunteer or make a donation to Detroit Holiday Meals on Wheels.
