The Travel Marketing Summit will take place on January 26th, 2015 at the Snapple Theater Center in Times Square.

The Travel Marketing Summit will be centered around the three phases of the marketing funnel; Inspiration, Consideration and Purchase. Speakers such as Eddie Bergman from the African Travel Association and Sree Srinivasan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art will be leading discussions on the importance of adjusting your marketing strategy to identify and engage new travelers.

"Millennials—more than any other demographic—are viewing travel experiences as more valuable than the 'traditional purchases' of the boomer era. Global travel and tourism spend is forecasted to reach $1.28T in 2015 and nearly 50% of business travel will be driven by millennials according to BCG and the GBTA. It is essential that travel marketers learn to not only engage this demographic but inspire them through storytelling using images, video and long-form content. This is crucial for generating an emotional connection," stated Jeff Fransen, business development manager at Cooperatize.

Additional speakers include restaurateur, Diane Dimeo from ABC’s ‘The Taste’ who will be discussing the importance of culinary tourism and Sam Shelby from the booking app Hotel Tonight on the impact of mobile on hotel discovery.
