Nautical Decor Store Carries New, Environmentally Sustainable Products

WENATCHEE, Wash. - Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- The Nautical Decor Store has a slew of new products that consumers, the domestic economy, and the environment will all appreciate. These new, decorative pieces are not only made entirely in the USA, but are also built with 100% recycled plastic, making them incredibly sustainable.

"[The manufacturer] approached me originally. The more we talked the more I realized it's a good fit," said Scott Tucker, Owner of the Nautical Decor Store. "These objects all float, so we're going to be trying to play that up in terms of being good in the tub or something around those lines. They're easily washed, you can even throw them in the dishwasher. They're pretty versatile, and they're virtually indestructible. They can even be used outside; they can take the weather, salt and sun."

The New England-based artist has a contract with a recycling entity, whom he gets the basic materials from. He melts down milk cartons and soda jugs, adds vibrant colors, and then molds the "renewed" basic materials. They're then eventually cut from a specific thickness into the unique, nautical themed shapes, and the edges are smoothed out using a router to create wonderful decor.

"We have eliminated any painter/sprayer middleman conventionally in the manufacturing loop, reducing production costs," said Tucker. "And better yet, the color is all the way through."

The Nautical Decor Store began carrying these items about a month ago, starting with the navy, 10x12, wall-hanging, blue anchor. Other wall-hanging designs include 4x8 blue and pink dolphins, 5" Seahorses, and 7x8 Turtles. More designs will be coming to the Nautical Decor Store as they're created.

Best of all, perhaps: they're quite economical.

"With a low price point, these are great for gifts and very affordable," Tucker said. "They're colorful and fun."

Some of the upcoming designs that will be posted to the online retailer's site in December include stingrays, lobsters, sharks, whales, angelfish, and clothing racks, so consumers would be wise to keep an eye out.
