Delivered Dish Offers Free Delivery For Donations to Oregon Food Bank

PORTLAND, Ore. - Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Delivered Dish is making it easy for Portland residents to help those in need, by teaming up with Oregon Food Bank to collect non-perishable food items from its customers. In return, Delivered Dish will offer free delivery on all catering and restaurant deliveries when you make a donation. This will be the sixth year that Delivered Dish has partnered with Oregon Food Bank to increase awareness of hunger in the Portland area. Oregon Food Bank helps to feed over 270,000 Oregonians per month, 34% of whom are children.

Delivered Dish will be offering free delivery from now until December 31, 2014 to customers who donate seven (7) or more non-perishable items when they order. When placing an order, customers can simply enter in coupon code “FOODBANK14” during checkout on the website (www.ddish.com) or tell their operator they wish to participate in the food drive when ordering by phone. When the driver arrives with their meal, the customer can simply hand over the non-perishable items, and they are free to use the coupon and donate as many times as they’d like for the duration of the offer.
