Midas Hospitality, LLC Announces Michael Vito, RDO & Robin Rankin, RDOS

LOUIS - Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- As Midas Hospitality continues its aggressive hotel portfolio growth, it adds additional regional support to the hotels with the addition of a Regional Director of Operations and Regional Director of Sales. Midas President, Robert Willard, states “We are extremely pleased to add two seasoned hospitality veterans, to our Midas Hospitality corporate support team.”

Michael Vito – Regional Director of Operations, Midas Hospitality, LLC

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Michael is a 25+ year hospitality veteran who brings both branded and independent hotel expertise to the group.  Michael began his career with Winegardner & Hammons.   Michael spent much of his career working for IRMCO properties, a renowned Real Estate company from Chicago, where he managed The Seneca Hotel & Suites and assisted with the Belden Stratford hotel.  Both of these properties were vintage mixed use, independent boutique hotels in Downtown Chicago and Lincoln Park, respectively.  The last several years he work for Remington hotels, managing the Silversmith Hotel & Suites in the famed Jeweler’s Row district of Chicago and the Embassy Suites Las Vegas.  He was a member of Remington’s President’s Club, which recognizes their top performing General Managers and hotels.

Michael’s experience and demonstrated success in achieving operational excellence have prepared him well for this position.  He has extensive history in turning around underperforming assets and driving both top line and bottom line results.   He also has a long history of managing renovation projects of all scopes and sizes.  Michael has a passion for the industry and truly believes in paying it forward.  Mentoring supervisors and managers early on in their careers is very important to him and believes that it is part of his responsibility.

Robin Rankin – Regional Director of Sales – Midas Hospitality, LLC

Also based in Columbus, OH, Robin is a 25 year veteran of the travel industry specializing in matching the travel needs of companies and organizations with world class accommodations.  Robin brings a wealth of knowledge from a variety of hotel brands including Hilton, Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn and Stouffer’s.  Prior to joining Midas Hospitality, LLC, Robin was Corporate Sales Manager at the Embassy Suites – Dublin, OH with Aimbridge Hospitality.

Robin has a proven track record in sales and has won several achievement awards including Sales Manager of the Year, Aimbridge Hospitality; Manager of the Year, Embassy Suites Columbus/Dublin; and Supplier and Meeting Planner of the Year, Meeting Professionals International, Ohio Chapter.
