James Goetz stated that he has applied for this award three times prior and was rejected. He went on to say, "It shows that through determination and hard work, if you keep moving your feet forward towards something healthy and positive, anything can happen. I am deeply touched and past honored to win this award". Upon graduation, Goetz states he plans on opening an integrative clinic to treat the patient as a whole, which may allow him to focus greater on pediatric patients and the treatment of neurological condtions through movement and function.
