By: Aliza Hava

Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Aliza Hava (http://www.alizahava.com/) is an independent artist addressing the unrest across the country through music and education.  She is an award winning Singer/Songwriter and is currently collaborating with several multi-platinum, Grammy winning producers on her upcoming album (http://www.mysterysongs.com/), due Spring 2015.

The singer composed a song about Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as part of an educational initiative to teach high school students about his life and legacy of non-violence and social justice. Hava has spent the last decade working with numerous non-profits, including the International Day of Peace NGO Committee at the United Nations and musical coexistence projects in the Middle East, enhancing their message with mission driven music.

Recently, Hava was selected to be featured in an upcoming book entitled Talent for Humanity (http://www.talentforhumanity.org/), which includes the profiles of seven humanitarian artists transforming the world through creative action.  As their mission states, "Every human being has the right to find his or her unique talent and the responsibility to share it."

Just as the 60’s and the early 70’s had music icons who sung out for peace, Aliza Hava is a singer/songwriter today who is calling for change.

Watch her music video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HB3RvpB6LTc&list=PLIC...) about Dr. King’s legacy as it relates to the current social justice issues in the United States.

Ms. Hava is available for media interviews and live appearances.  She is currently based in the Bay Area. For bookings, contact booking@alizahava.com.
