Follow on Google News | PointClear Networks Announces Launch of ShorePath Internet ServicesShorePath Broadband will utilize Fiber to the Node (FTTN) technology, meaning that the fiber is delivered to a hub near the customer’s location. The existing copper wire infrastructure is then used to carry the high-speed connection for the short remaining distance to the customer location. ShorePath Broadband will be available in speeds up to 45 Megabits depending on the distance the customer is located from the hub. ShorePath MAX will deliver a fiber optic connection directly to the business premise and will be able to deliver dedicated symmetrical speeds ranging from 100 Megabits to 1 Gigabit. “By leveraging the power of the two largest fiber optic networks in the southeast, we can now offer dedicated high speed internet to more businesses than ever before,” said C.J. Ezell, CEO & Founder of PointClear Networks. “These offerings further our commitment to bring voice, data and IT Services together. Customers no longer have to deal with multiple vendors to solve technology problems.” The company expects the first “Shore Path Broadband” customers to be installed by mid-January of 2015, with the first “ShorePath MAX” customer to be operational in early February.
