LANCASTER, Pa. - Dec. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- This holiday season, help Keystone Custom Homes to Smile for HOPE. Now through December 31, 2014, the home builder is reaching out through social media to raise money for HOPE International, a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycles of poverty in 17 developing countries through microfinance.

To participate in Smile for HOPE, just post a selfie at one of Keystone (http://builderpedia.com/2013/07/keystone-custom-homes/)’s model homes or quick move-in showcase homes on the builder’s Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest profiles. Be sure to include #KCHSmileforHOPE within the caption. For each selfie posted, Keystone will donate $5 to HOPE International. Plus, it does not stop there. Tour a model home, and the builder will donate an additional $1.*

These donations will allow HOPE International to expand its reach. Founded in 1998 by Keystone’s President Jeff Rutt, the organization provides small loans, savings services and business training to entrepreneurs in Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia. As clients repay their loans, the same funds are issued to new borrowers. In total, HOPE International reaches over 400,000 people and gives them opportunities to start or expand their businesses.

“We wanted to spread awareness of this great organization in a way that would make it fun for those participating,” explained Rutt. “Through the excitement of looking for a new home and touring models, our buyers can take the extra step of posting a selfie to help give a hand up to those in need. It’s very simple when they’re already probably taking lots of photos of the homes to show their family and friends.”

Smile for HOPE this month, and spread cheer across the world. To learn more about HOPE International, visit www.hopeinternational.org. To find out more about Keystone’s homes, visit www.keystonecustomhome.com.
