“Our annual cocktail party is one of our premiere fundraising events of the year to benefit the homeless animals in the Flagler area,” said Dr. Gary Shelton, FHS board president. “Our community has pulled together to provide a spectacular assortment of silent auction items and entertainment for our guests.” Tickets are $75 with advanced reservations required. Tickets are limited to the first 150 guests. Guests are asked to RSVP by phone to 386.569.9041. The address for the event is 42 Island Estates Parkway, Palm Coast, 32137. “Our annual holiday cocktail party will be a great way for anyone to kick-off their holiday season and to help Flagler Humane Society’s homeless animals,” said Amy Carotento FHS executive director. “So far this year we have adopted out over 650 dogs and 770 cats and are averaging close to a 90 percent save rate for all animals. This is practically unheard of for an open admissions shelter that does not turn away any animal.” The Flagler Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, established in 1980. Its mission is to take in and care for lost and homeless animals, care for them and find them loving “forever homes” where they can live out their lives as part of a family.
