Chiropractors and Sports Training Facilities Earning Big Money With “New” Technology

Chiropractors and sports performance facilities are enjoying an influx of new revenue and new clientele with the addition of The ARP Wave System, a highly advanced rehab technology once reserved only for the world’s top pro athletes. Many chiropractors are now raving that it not only increases revenue and patient flow, but technology that separates them from their competitors.
DALLAS - Dec. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Over the past 15 years, the ARP Wave System of neurological soft tissue rehabilitation has quietly flown under the radar, even after treating more than 100,000 patients with a better than 95% track record of success in getting people out of pain and back from injury faster than any other modality or therapy. So much so, that more than 600 NFL Players and 2,000 of the world’s most elite professional athletes trust their multi-million careers to ARP Wave as their tool to rapidly return from injury, in almost all cases 80-90% faster than traditional physical therapy. In 2012, however, the company decided to make this patented and proprietary technology available to the mainstream by licensing it to the medical community and, in doing so, it has turned out to not only be a financial boon to the surgeon sector, but the chiropractic and sports performance community as well.

"I have been a Chiropractor for 14 years and pride myself on being on top of all the new cutting edge technology. In using the ARP Wave over the past year, I am flabbergasted at the results it produces. The results are immediate and work for any kind of condition. In 14 years of private practice I have never seen results like this. This technology is truly going to change healthcare in the most positive way imaginable, both for the Doctors rendering care and the patients receiving the care. Patients are going to get quality of life back in a very short period of time, live a life without pain and doctors are going to successfully treat nearly any condition without drugs or surgery. Absolutely amazing. Just as exciting is the increase in revenue and clients this has produced for my practice," stated Dr. Brian Miller, a chiropractic professional based in Chicago, IL.

So what is the ARP Wave System? Mark McClure, Managing Partner of The Astra Group, ARP Wave’s main marketing partner for North America, had this to say;

“Where you feel pain or are injured is not where it is coming from, ever. Somewhere a muscle or muscles are not absorbing force like they were meant to do and this arises from a neurological disconnect. So what does that mean? It means that the signal being sent by the brain for that muscle to turn on fast enough to absorb force and create force is not getting through, and this is due to sodium potassium leakage; and where there is sodium potassium leakage there is scar tissue and absolutely zero neurological communication. When this occurs that force is then sent to areas of the body not meant to absorb force, hence causing damage to ligaments, tendons and other parts of the body and thus short and long term pain. Until the muscles meant to absorb this force are treated, all the surgeries and physical rehab in the world will not fix the problem because that force will STILL be sent to these areas. With the ARP Wave system and proprietary protocols developed by Denis Thompson and Jay Schroeder, we are able to pinpoint this neurological disconnect, treat it, turn the muscle back on, so to speak, so it is now absorbing and creating force, transfer this force away from the injured area back to the muscle and in the process vastly accelerate healing and eliminate pain 80-90% faster than normal. Regardless of how long they have had this problem. This is a neurological issue, not a physical one and needs to be addressed this way. That’s the power of the ARP Wave System and what separates us from everyone else,” McClure stated.

Track Record v. Studies

While their 15-year track record, anecdotal evidence and pro athlete clientele is substantial, some in the medical field have balked at the lack of scientific research. To date, the company has produced one study from The University of Hawaii Medical School on how the ARP Wave System successfully eliminates atrophy in post-ACL reconstructive surgery patients. Other than that, the rave reviews and testimonials from patients and doctors alike have been the driving force behind the growth of this patented technology and this has translated into more revenue and more patients for those that have brought it into their practice.

"I have worked in sports rehab my entire chiropractic career with the NHL and various other professional and amateur athletes and organizations. Never have I seen a system of rehab that gets patients back faster than the ARP Wave System. Injuries that would typically take weeks or even months to rehab have been narrowed to days with this system and this has translated into more patients and more profit for my clinic. Absolutely, without a doubt, the best form of pain and injury elimination therapy I have ever seen and is now a staple at my clinic. It has driven in high school and college athletes and in turn I have ended getting their families as well. Win-win all around,” said Dr. Jason Bongi of Atlanta Sport and Spine.

Pro athletes trusting their careers to ARP Wave

Chicago Bears ALL Pro wide receiver, Brandon Marshall, is certainly a believer. In a recent Chicago Tribune news article he had this to say about the ARP Wave System. "For me, the healing is what I believe in," Marshall said. "It has proven itself. That's what I go off, my own experiences. I've used it for everything, from preventive to recovery to treatment and strengthening. Once you feel what this thing does for your body, you believe."

So is this the financial panacea the medical community has been looking for, especially in the highly competitive chiropractic industry? In a recent check in Greater Los Angeles, there were more than 500 chiropractors listed on the California Chiropractic Association website, all within a 30-mile radius of each and all essentially offering the same services.

“The competition in the chiropractic industry is insane. In Dallas, where I own an ARP Wave clinic called Dallas Peak Performance and Rehab, there has to be at least 30 or 40 within a 15-mile radius and this doesn’t include physical therapy and sports medical rehab locations. But we have been able to capture the high school, college and pro sports segment because we are able to get patients back much, much, much faster than those that offer traditional rehab and we have been able to do this on a strict cash only basis. While everyone else fights it out offering the same service and having to deal with insurance, we have carved out a highly profitable niche that has zero competition and zero insurance reimbursement issues. So as the main marketing partner for ARP Wave in North America I also own clinics because the revenue, results and lack of any competitors for what we do is incredible. It’s a no-brainer. More money, more patients, better results and no competition”, McClure added.

The ARP Wave Expansion: Are other modalities now obsolete?

Based out of Apple Valley, MN, ARP Wave LLC has stated recently that there around 100 commercially licensed facilities throughout the U.S., so the opportunity for growth is substantial. Even in major tier markets where a bulk of the 100 clinics are located, the surface has not even been scratched in terms of saturation. According to Wikipedia, the CSA population (Combined Statistical Area) for Chicago is just over 9.9 million people and McClure states that there are roughly only 10 ARP Commercial partners in that region. The most of any region in the U.S., calculating close to 1 million people per ARP Wave clinic.

“Oh, the potential is absolutely enormous. First off, the ARP Wave pretty much makes laser, ultrasound, stim and all other modalities obsolete. It can diagnose, which none of those can do. Eliminate pain at a far greater pace than any of those modalities. It then breaks the compensation patterns that arose from the injury and then, most importantly, the results are permanent because we treated the origin of what caused the symptom.  No other technology can do this and a reason the world’s top pro athletes trust their careers to us. Imagine owning a chiropractic or sports performance facility and bringing in a technology that can literally eliminate back, hip, knee, shoulder, neck, ankle pain and even Tommy John Surgery? You now have a service everyone wants and everyone needs and you can do it on a cash basis. And believe me as someone who owns clinics on a cash basis, people will pay for the results. At the end of the first trial session, their jaws drop. They are shocked at the rapid relief and range of motion increase. At that point closing them into the therapy is a foregone conclusion. Cash is not the issue,” McClure ended.

While Astra Group is looking to aggressively expand the ARP Wave technology to help more people, McClure states they are very selective on who they license to.

“I would love to sell 100 ARP Wave licenses per city but that’s not how we operate. We pick and choose those we license to and they have to meet certain criteria other than simply paying the $490 per month. We look at traffic flow to the clinic, how motivated they are to market it to their database, etc. If they look like a good fit, we than ship them out a $23,000 ARP system at no cost or obligation, Skype into their clinic and treat a couple patients with them. The results speak for themselves. At that point we both decide if it is a good fit and if it is, get paperwork done, map out a marketing launch and get rolling,” McClure said.

With competition for patients and clients within the chiropractic, sports medicine and sports performance industries growing daily, ARP Wave has now opened the doors for these businesses to generate more revenue and patients using a patented system of neurological rehab with no competition all while utilizing a cash pay model. Is this the answer they have been looking for? Based on the results to date it seems that way, but only time will tell.
