Rhett Women's Center Adds Christina Becerra, RD

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Christina Becerra, RD has joined Rhett Women’s Center.  She will serve as the Director of Weight Management and Wellness Program.  She joins Drs. Edmund Rhett, David Smith, and Gene Blake, CNM.

She received a BS in Dietetics from the University of Central Missouri State and completed her dietetic internship at St Joseph Health Center in Kansas City, MO.

In the past twenty years, Becerra has served as a clinical dietician for several hospital systems in the greater Kansas City area, as a “WIC” Dietician at the Wyandotte County Health Dept. and as a consultant dietitian for numerous nursing homes, group homes, and behavioral health institutions in Kansas, Missouri, and S.C.  In addition to being a licensed Dietician and Nutritionist, she is also an ACE-Certified Personal Fitness Trainer.

Rhett Women’s Center, with locations in Mt. Pleasant and Georgetown, provides comprehensive gynecological care including preventive care, wellness and nutrition services, healthy aging practices, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy in a boutique environment.  The facility includes ultrasound capabilities, laboratory services, and a surgery center for non-invasive surgical procedures.
