Advanced Roofing Inc. earns 2014 Craftsmanship Awards from Construction Assn. of South Fla

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Advanced Roofing Inc., Florida's largest commercial roofing company, is proud to announce that it received a Craftsmanship Award from the Construction Association of South Florida (CASF) at the association’s annual recognition event in November 2014.

The CASF Craftsmanship Awards Program started in 1958, and nominees are selected by construction industry professionals. Over the years, craftsmen from Advanced Roofing have won several awards – including a 2013 Craftsmanship Award for its asphalt roofing installation at Publix Supermarket in South beach, Miami.

Advanced Roofing's team member Cesar Perez was selected as a recipient in the 2014 Craftsmanship Award Program for the outstanding job his crew performed while installing a 16,000 square foot copper roofing system on the Huizenga Pavilion. The Huizenga Pavilion is a two-story event space located at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. The event space is designed to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. In addition to constructing the roof, Advanced installed 1,000 square feet of decorative fascia and more than 450 linear feet of gutters and drip-edge.

The Huizenga Pavilion at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts was part of a two-phase, 18-month long project led by Miller-Stiles Construction that was completed in 2014. Miller-Stiles selected Advanced as the most qualified roofing contractor for the project because of its outstanding reputation in the community and long history installing commercial roof systems in Broward County.
