Savannah Mall Welcomes Compassionate Santa for Children with Sensory Concerns

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Children with autism and similar sensory concerns will get a chance to meet with a “Compassionate Santa” at the Savannah Mall. The special event will be Saturday, December 6 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the lower level of the mall near the soft play area. The morning meeting is specially designed for these children and will provide an atmosphere free from the usual lighting, music and over-stimulating mall surroundings that prevent an enjoyable visit with Santa.

“All children deserve to have special time with Santa,” said Savannah Mall General Manager Phil McConnell. “We want to offer everyone a chance to meet the big man in the red suit, including those children with different abilities.”
