Yorkshire Manufacturer Helping The Fight Against Ebola

WEST YORKSHIRE, U.K. - Nov. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Topdental Products Ltd; the Yorkshire-based manufacturer of infection control products, is supporting the charity World In Need International by donating its products to help the charity fight the Ebola virus in West Africa.

The manufacturer has donated 1,500 packs of its Virofex disinfectant wipes for use in some of the regions worst affected by the virus.

The disinfectant wipes will initially be transported to the charity’s base where they will be packed onto a 20-foot container ready for shipping to Sierra Leone’s capital Freetown. They will then be distributed to the Ebola-hit areas by the charity’s local operating partners Adullam Missions.

Commenting on the donation, Peter Tapper, managing director of Topdental Products says: “World in Need International is doing an amazing job on the ground in West Africa but needs companies and suppliers like ourselves to support their efforts by providing vital resources.

“When I spoke to our staff they were keen to help by giving up their own time to pack the palette of wipes ready for shipping to West Africa. We’re pleased that we could assist the charity and hope that with the help of similar corporate collaborations, World in Need International and other aid agencies will be able to minimise the spread of Ebola.”
