Local Broker Wins Venus Customer Service Award

 
EXETER, U.K. - Nov. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- At a gala dinner presentation held at Exeter University last Friday, one member of the Fidelius Insurance Services team was recognised by her clients, colleagues, and friends as an outstanding purveyor of customer service in Devon’s thriving business community.

A finalist in the NatWest Venus Business Awards Devon: Employer of the Year and Customer Service categories, Sarah Page, a director at Fidelius, was announced as the winner of this year’s Venus Devon Customer Service Award.

“This was the award I really wanted to win”, said Sarah.  “Being a finalist in the Employer of the Year category was very important to me, and I am so grateful that members of my staff took the time to pen endorsements for me, but it was the Customer Service award that mattered most as it is such a wonderful reflection of the opinions my customers have of me and our company.”

“Your business is only as good as what your clients think of you,” added Sarah, “and I take this award as an indicator my colleagues and I are doing right by them.”

Dubbed “the Working Women’s Oscars” by Channel Four television, the Venus Awards has earned that sophisticated and charming analogy and continues to grow as a popular and highly regarded business event.  With an evening swathed in the edict that women dress in “long and luscious” evening gowns and men in black tie – the awards presentation brings a striking and elegant finale to 2014’s Venus Business Awards .

Friday’s event, which was attended by over three hundred guests, drew to a close a process which began in April of this year when the first nominations were released.  Sarah was nominated in two categories and, over the ensuing months, a process of elimination reduced over a thousand nominees to a short list of finalists, many of whom represent the North Devon business community.

Sarah said, “This has been an amazing experience, and I am very thankful to Sandler Training, Speaking Success, and all of the other award sponsors for supporting this event.  It has meant so much to be a part of this, especially given that five of the finalists, myself included, all come from North Devon.  Being a part of the Venus Awards has acted as a catalyst for us to support and network with each other, and it is proving to be very successful.“

The award nomination process will begin again next spring, but Sarah’s participation in the Venus Awards has not ended yet, as winning the Customer Service award places her in the National Finals, which take place in Basingstoke on the 23rd of January.
