Follow on Google News | Energy drinks, a dj’s best friendBy: Energyfied The energy drink is perfect to do the trick. But it’s also great for students. If you have to pull an all nighter and have lots of studying to get done, then an energy drink is just what the doctor ordered. But where energy drinks have truly found a great reception, is in the profession of disc jockeys. Dj’s have taken to the fad like fish to water. And why wouldn’t they? The nature of the job is such that you have to stay awake all night. Your job is to create fun. So when everyone else is going to bed, that is when the dj has to wake up and start his job of entertaining. This is not always as easy as it sounds. Just think about it. Your job is to get other people up and having fun, to keep the party going, to keep everyone in a good mood. Sound easy? But what if you’ve had a bad day. What if your girlfriend broke up with you that day? What is your dog died? What if you’ve been diagnosed with some kind of illness? There are so many what ifs. Anything could happen, as it does in life, which could make it less easy for you to just show up and be the life of the party. That’s where energy drinks come into play. Not only do they give you the boost you need to show up, but it could also act as a mood enhancer. It is common practice amongst rockstars to mix their energy drinks with alcohol, making it pack a punch. This is also a popular thing to do amongst dj’s. It provides the perfect base for an evening that has to keep going. There are even some energy drinks that don’t have to be mixed with alcohol, because they are already pre-mixed. So most of the energy in energy drinks comes from either caffeine or sugar, but some energy drinks are alcoholic, so that also acts as a mood enhancer. There are a wide variety of energy drinks for the consumer to choose from. Remember, you may not want an alcoholic version, but not to worry, there are lots of non alcoholic versions around for those of us who aren’t dj’s. If these drinks work for dj’s who have to stay up all hours of the night, they will certainly work for little old you and me. Because energy drinks are so popular with dj’s and also with rockstar’s, the image of the energy drink has developed it to levels of importance even beyond its function.
