  Nowadays, it seems that only married couples' problems are not treated by society, thus anybody who wants to marry can't expect anything from society, with regard to both their material and social problems. Beginning a life together from scratch can be a difficult challenge. A new family needs its privacy and independence, so they can grow and become accustomed with each other, living with the in-laws accomplishes nothing regarding this.

  We have a solution for these problems. By building a self-sustainable home, we are providing couples with privacy and independence, without spending too much and enabling them to make a decent living.

  The building is self-sustainable, alternative solutions such as photovoltaic panels being used to generate the needed energy. The residents will thus not pay utility bills, just the rent itself.

  The rent is actually a rate of a financial deposit to serve as a downpayment for a new residence or buy the current apartment outright. At the end of the lease, when the family decides to leave the apartment for a new location, 80% of the deposit's value becomes available to them, the other 20% being used for the building's maintenance.

  We create a special environment, in which everybody goes through the same challenges and difficulties, giving them the opportunity to develop interpersonal relationships with their fellows, understanding, helping each other and ultimately, forming a generation of children who can play together.

  The building is designed in a semicircle shape, which favors and encourages interaction and socialization between neighbors, each of the exits being placed towards the semicircle's center, where a small park is located. The park is surrounded by car parking lots, which give a feeling of safety. The parking lots' roof provide protection, as well as providing an additional energy generation potential through the use of photovoltaic panels. Each parking lot is also equipped with an electric charging station, to encourage the reduction of gas emissions.

  Control of each apartment is achieved through a mobile device which brings the family convenience and safety. This systems allows for the apartment's temperature, ambient light to be controlled and it also enables real-time monitoring of windows, doors and certain parameters such as air quality. Furthermore, this system provides access to live video images from both inside the apartment, as well as outside the building.
