Author Brings G-spot To Mount Peace Book Club

RALEIGH, N.C. - Nov. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- If you thought this year's Mount Peace Book Club Family and Friends Day was going to be the same as last year, guess again.  Life Coach and Author Suzette Hinton burst on the scene with her new book, Protecting Your Emotional G-spot.  This was totally unexpected for those who were familiar with her first book, The Sound of My Life.

Explains Hinton, "This book is one of two books written at the same time.  The Sound of My Soul is the sequel to the first where the soul behind the life is revealed.  Protecting Your Emotional G-spot, definitely the more provocative of the two, has the same DNA.  It tells the truth. By doing so it allows us to get honest and find solutions to our struggles."

Invited by Book Club President, Maudine Harrington, Hinton was featured with four other phenomenal local authors:  Brandy Dolby, Delanda McNair, Dr Wanda Williams and the only novelist in the group, Titus Pollard.  As Hinton described her books, Harrington was quick to interject, "I have all of her books!"

Lest the men in the club felt left out by the book's title, Hinton added, "You might not have a G-spot, but you men have a He-spot.  So, I've included you too."

Under the able leadership of visionary Pastor J. Vincent Terry Sr., D.D., this growing group of readers have found community and purpose as part of the 2500+ membership of Mount Peace Baptist Church located at the intersection of Raleigh Blvd and Martin Luther King Blvd.  For many, it has been a discovery of a love they didn't think they could have.

Says HL Curry, Deacon and Book Club member, "It's important that our children see us [men] read too.  We can't expect them to do it if we don't.  That's the way we grow."
