Schiffman’s Estate & Antique Jewelry Collection
Friday, November 21 – Tuesday, November 25

Style – every piece of estate or antique jewelry boasts a distinctive look, reflective of the fashions of the era in which it was created. From the brilliant colored gemstones and bold geometric styles of the Art Deco movement; to the curva-linear forms favored in Art Nouveau styles; to the lacy diamond jewels popular during the Edwardian era; and the bold, mod look of mid-century gems, some of the best examples of the jewelers are will be showcased in the remarkable collection of Estate and Antique jewelry presented by Schiffman’s Jewelers. Channel her personal style in a gem that embodies her unique fashion élan.

The show features a comprehensive selection of period pieces and modern estate jewelry. Jewelry is classified as antique if it was created prior to 1900; more recent pieces are referred to as estate. Every piece in the Schiffman’s Jewelers collection is unique and makes a distinctive statement when worn. Many are one-of-a-kind, handmade gems from American and European jewelers, and all provide great values as the quality and caliber of craftsmanship seen in these pieces would be extremely costly to replicate today.

Slane Trunk Show
Friday, November 21

Your silver belle will adore a gift from the SLANE collection. Designed by North Carolina natives, sisters HEALTH and LANDON Slane, SLANE jewels are prized for their luxe silver looks and fabulous versatility–worn alone or mixed and matched, SLANE gems easily transition from daytime to glam holiday looks. With impeccable attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, SLANE designs are inspired by historical references, architecture and the beauty found in everyday objects– the firm’s signature Bee design, for example, was inspired by the Napoleonic Bee, a symbol of nobility. SLANE’s gems are meant to be mixed-and-matched to allow the wearer to build her own palette and look.  Each sterling silver or 18-karat gold design features varied and unusual textures paired with pearls, precious gems or diamonds. SLANE gems are also green–all are made with recycled sterling silver and gold.
